A Penangk Gallery Certificate of Authenticity and a photo of the artist with their artwork is provided wherever possible. Certificates of Authenticity provides the buyer with a guarantee from Penangk Gallery that the artwork purchased is a genuine Aboriginal artwork. The Certificate of Authenticity comprises the following details about the painting:
- Catalogue Number (A unique number assigned to each individual artwork)
- Date Painted when possible
- Artist’s Name
- Artist’s Language Group
- Artist’s Country
- Title/Story of Artwork

Please be aware that the importation of works of Aboriginal Art into other countries may entail a duty or tax. It is the responsibility of the customer buying or receiving the goods to pay this duty or tax.
You may contact the relevant Customs Office to determine whether duties are payable or use an online import duty and tax calculator. The Australian Goods and Services Tax or ‘GST’ is calculated on all orders within Australia.
